General term and condition:
Services
1.1 By using our site you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1.2 We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time without providing any prior notification. The amended terms and conditions are effective from the date they are published on our site. Your continued access and use of our site and our services shall represent your unconditional acceptance of the latest version of the terms and conditions.
Order
2.1 When you place an order you are making an offer to buy the merchandise you have specified at the price stated for those merchandise. You cannot cancel an order once it has been submitted, even if our acceptance or rejection of your order is still pending.
Returns or Exchanges
3.1 Unless otherwise specified, no return or exchange of merchandise will be accepted. Please read the returns or exchanges policy carefully before you place an order.
Termination
4.1 We may terminate your access to our site or registration immediately if you are in breach of any of these terms and conditions.
4.2 Any rights that have accrued to either party at the date of termination will remain enforceable after termination.
Intellectual Property
5.1 All intellectual property rights in the Content, User Content, design, text, graphics and other material on our site and the selection or arrangement thereof are owned, controlled or licensed by or to us. Any authorised used without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
General
6.1 We take privacy issues seriously. Our privacy policy covers our use of any information you provide. In using our services, you agree that we may collect, store, and use information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.
6.2 We shall not be liable to you for any breach of these terms and conditions of use or any failure to provide or delay in providing our services through our site resulting from any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
6.3 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in Hong Kong. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts.
Warranty policy
7.1 Replacement within 7 days of purchase
(1)The products sold by VBC only accept replacement due to quality issue within 7 days from the date of purchase. We do not accept refund nor change to other colour or item except quality issue. If the product performance is not satisfy might due to misunderstand the appropriate operating procedures, please read through the instruction manual or call our service hotline for assistance.
(2) 12 months warranty upon date of purchase with original Proof of Purchase (except consumable goods), 6 months warranty for battery; excluding collision, human mistake, does not follow the usage instructions or misuse.
(3) If the product has physical fault within first 7 days of purchase, excluding collision, human mistake, does not follow the usage instructions or misuse, please contact us and bring the product to our office during office hour, let our service staff to evaluate, the faulty unit may be replaced by a new unit of the same color and same model, Parrot has the discretion and the final decision. If there is any damage to the appearance of the product, it can only be repaired and cannot be replaced by a new unit.
We do not accept following conditions of the product return or exchange within 7 days, we might replace spare parts:
1) Human mistake, collision, does not follow the usage instructions or misuse (we may charge the parts fee);
2) Any productnot inits original condition, the package is damaged or missing parts;
3) clearance products, display or welfare products.
7.2 Terms of warranty
1) An original proof of purchase should be provided for validity of warranty:
i. Original Proof of Purchase from our VBC or our authorized dealer (original invoice or receipt. Photocopies are not accepted under normal circumstances.)
ii. Serial Number(S/N) is displayed on the packaging label or the label on the unit.
7.3 Period of warranty
i. Unless otherwise noted , 12 months warranty for our products from the date of purchase, six months for batteries, excluding consumable goods human mistake;
ii. 6 months warranty for batteries upon purchase, misuse and abuse voids warranty;
iii. Repair of any products during warranty will not extend the original warranty term.
7.4 Warranty coverage and repair policy
i. We provide warranty for products purchased directly from us, or from our authorized dealers only. With an original proof of purchase and proven that the product has been used under normal circumstance, repair service will be provided.
We will not warrant the goods due to the scratch. If customer requests to repair the appearance of the goods, customers would pay for the spare parts.
ii. We provide warranty for products purchased directly from us, or from our authorized dealer only. After one year upon purchase, customers would bear the cost of spare parts. If the parts cannot be provided by the vendors as discontinued, we has the discretion to provide alternative options in case by case basis;
iii. Warranty covers the repairs for hardware components and software used under normal circumstances only. Misuse, modification and abuse void the warranty. Any unofficial data/media is not covered of this warranty. Any loss of data/media upon repair, we shall not be responsible for it;
iv. Warranty will be voided immediately if any modification on the proof of purchase.
v. The physical condition of the invoice or the redemption email is the liability of the customer. We will not reissue invoice.
7.5 Warranty will be void under the following circumstances, customers would pay the spare parts fee:
i. Abuse, misuse or damage of any kind;
ii. Wear and tear or deteriorate of appearance;
iii. Damage due to natural forces such as, but not limit to, natural disasters, etc.
iv. Modification of any kind, including the use of third party transformers, amplifiers, etc.
v. Customer failed to provide an original proof of purchase. Photocopies, snapshots, photos, etc. are not considered to be original.
vi. As for other consumable parts , we cannot provide repair services, for more details please check with us.
7.6 Fees and liability
i. If the new units encountered any quality issues within 7days, customers should contact us for assistance or after sales service.
ii. We do not provide door-to-door services of any kind;
iii. The product is verified by our company and satisfies with the warranty coverage and repair policy, the product within the warranty period all the logistics cost is also be borne by the buyer;
iv. Should the product falls out of the warranty period, and the product is verified by our company; customer have to bear all the logistics;
v. For product(s) out of warranty period, necessary part(s) fee will be quoted after inspection;
vi. For all products that are sent to us for inspection and repair, a maximum 3 months storage, starting from the pick-up notice informed by our staff via email or telephone. Once the maximum storage period is exceeded, the products will be handled by us without further notice.
Note: The customer accepts our terms of warranty upon purchase of our distributed products.
VBC reserves all the right to the interpretation and explanation to the terms of warranty.
In the event of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
